6th Class Graduation

On June 19th a special graduation Mass was celebrated by Fr. Manning to celebrate the 6th class girls’ “graduation “from Primary School. It was both a happy and a sad occasion in that we are sorry to see such a fine group of girls leave us and yet we are glad that they are ready to move on, We have to make room for the new Ju
nior Infants!!! On the night the girls entertained their parents and teachers with “memories of primary school!”.

E Twinning

We took part in an etwiining  project with Dr. Mezo Ferenc, Primary School, Budapest
and  Amerlinggymnasium BgwikuRg6, Wien (Austria). We  used the eTwinning website. We used Twin Space in this to exchange our photos and stories.

We have shared some pictures on Christmas in Ireland, Hungary, and Vienna. Then we talked on Skype about them.

The pupils in Hungary sent us the poems they liked via email. We talked about the poems when we were on Skype. We sang 'Dochas Linn Naomh Padraig' for them and told them about St. Patricks Day.

We love getting online and seeing what other children in Europe are learn.
