Louis O’Sullivan, the local Conservation Ranger for the Macroom area gave a talk to our 4th, 5th and 6th classes last Friday about the importance of biodiversity and the kinds of species they might see in Ireland and Macroom. He gave a presentation and displayed the taxidermy of a few native animals. It was a very interesting presentation and the girls had lots of questions.
