Christmas in St.Joseph’s!

January 4, 2023

We were all very busy in St.Joseph’s in the lead up to Christmas! Here are some of the things we were doing:

  • Junior Infants, 1st Class, 5th Class and 6th Class were all working hard on their Christmas shows and they all performed excellently for both the school and their parents.
  • Visits to the Church and town crib.
  • Making hot chocolate.
  • 4th, 5th and 6th Classes sang beautifully in the Church for the Christmas Carol service.
  • 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes took part in a quiz.
  • 4th, 5th and 6th Classes were busy making recycling art projects for the Green Schools competition.
  • 5th Class took part in a Chess tournament in school.
  • We were very lucky to have Santa come to visit our school and our brilliant Student Council proved to be great helpers on the day.

We hope you all had a wonderful, peaceful Christmas and we wish you a very Happy New Year!
