The return to school was a peaceful one with the completion of our new school street just in time for school re-opening. The removal of traffic from directly outside the school has ensured that pupils can walk to school and from school from all over town in a safe manner. We look forward to the addition of some playful road markings and furniture to keep everyone busy while they wait for the gate to open in the mornings. Thanks to Macroom District Council, An Taisce, Green Schools and Safe Routes to School for their input on the development.
