5th Class had a great day on Tuesday at ESB Science Blast in Mary Immaculate College in Limerick. It was a fun filled day where the girls visited different exhibitions and workshops including ‘The Science of Sport’, ‘The Secret World of Gases’ and they got to meet Ireland’s Citizen Scientist-Astronaut Candidate – Dr.Norah Patton. The best part of the day for the girls was presenting their fantastic projects to the judges at the exhibition. They received excellent feedback from the judges and received a lovely glass trophy for their participation! πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ On arrival back to Macroom, the girls enjoyed pizza back at the school from Mizzonis. πŸ•
