2nd class did 3 experiments for Science Week.
We tested raisins in still and sparkling water and realised that the carbon dioxide in sparkling water made them ‘dance’.
The other two involved checking does water travel. We used food colouring in water and paper towels in the first one. The water travelled through the paper towel and the colours mixed.
The second one didn’t work as well for us! We used food colouring in water again and checked to see if the water would travel through celery so we could see the colour on the celery leaves, hopefully it works the next time!
