We were delighted to receive our Sfi Silver Award at the end of last year in recognition for our commitment to STEM learning and teaching. A huge well done to our girls from 5th & 6th Class who took part in the Lifetime Lab Primary Science Quiz. They really enjoyed the event and received medals for their efforts.
We had a great Thursday exploring scratch and problem solving skills.
2nd class did 3 experiments for Science Week. We tested raisins in still and sparkling water and realised that the carbon dioxide in sparkling water made them 'dance'. The other two involved checking does water travel. We used food colouring in water and paper towels...
